AREAS OF CARE

As a patient, you will have access to the latest treatments that allow you to optimally control your blood sugar levels and help minimize short and long term complications.  Treatments include oral medications and insulin therapy, including insulin pump therapy.  We also treat patients for gestational diabetes and diabetes prevention.  All aspects of diabetes care are offered, including hypertension and cholesterol management, weight loss, and cardiovascular risk reduction.

We offer treatment for hyperthyroidism (overactive), hypothyroidism (underactive), thyroiditis, thyroid cancer, as well as assessment for thyroid nodules and goiters.  For your convenience, our board certified Endocrinologists perform thyroid ultrasounds and fine needle aspirations in our office.  We also offer second opinions for those interested in non-surgical management of structural thyroid issues.

We diagnose and treat irregular menses, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), hyperandrogenism (too much testosterone in a female), male hormone replacement, and female menopause assessment.  In addition, we are available for consultation for non-surgical treatments for evaluation of male and female fertility issues.  We provide extensive counseling and referral for those requiring surgical treatments of these conditions.
